Distributor Restoration
What differentiates T.I. Specialty from competitors?
At T.I. Specialty distributor restoration is executed using original Delco parts, not reproduction parts.
The reason is simple- Usage of Delco parts retains function & as stated elsewhere on this site, function is extremely important to the performance of your Corvette.
The tach drive distributors used in Corvettes are very unique and therefore require special restoration techniques in order to provide long service life and performance. At T.I. Specialty, comprehensive research and years of experience will insure a properly restored distributor. Restoration details are based on GM reference material, NCRS records, and information obtained from the examination of many original components. In most cases, new old stock (NOS) or restored original GM/Delco parts are used for restoration purposes.
